About the Workshop
Why is it that our New Year's resolutions often fail to materialize? Every year, we enter the new year with a surge of enthusiasm and determination, vowing to make significant changes in our lives as the clock strikes midnight. However, it seems that within just a few weeks, that excitement disappears, and our well-articulated resolutions fade into the background, seemingly forgotten.
In this workshop, we will delve into the underlying reasons for this phenomenon. We will explore the complex concepts of success and failure, addressing the fears that often accompany our desire for change—specifically, the fear of making mistakes. We'll examine how our internal dialogue, often framed in an if-then language, can either propel us forward or hold us back. Additionally, we will differentiate between meaning and purpose, revealing how understanding these concepts can shape our goals and intentions.
Rather than mere resolutions, we will focus on the importance of setting genuine intentions and uncover the dynamic between internal drive (in-tensions) and external influences (out-tensions). This exploration will help us understand what it truly means to set an intention and how we can embrace our unique imperfections to call in enduring change in our lives.
We'll experience a powerful process of manifestation and leave this workshop with tools and a clear set of goals that will empower us and invite us to live in wholeness, with dedication and attention to our daily choices.
This class is offered as a workshop, having you write and explore alongside the teachings, with different prompts and questions that will lead your goal setting journey and support you in creating a meaningful intention plan for the year.
